Performance Columbus teams with Battery Hockey Academy

We are pleased to announce a new local partnership between the Battery Hockey Academy and
the Performance Columbus Family of Dealerships. Performance Columbus will be the premier
sponsor for the Battery Hockey Academy travel teams during the 2024/25 regular season.
With eight locations across central Ohio, the family of dealerships includes Honda Marysville, Honda
Marysville Motorsports, Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Delaware and on Georgesville
Road, Performance GMC Cadillac, Performance Luxury Sport, Toyota Direct, and Drive Direct. You
may also be familiar with their brand as longstanding proud sponsors of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Battery Hockey Academy was founded in 2018 by a group of hockey parents and former
Columbus Blue Jacket, Cam Atkinson. The Battery was designed to offer exceptional
development training to all hockey players in Ohio. To date, the Battery has trained over 5,500
individual youth athletes and our teams are currently ranked Top 10 in the country. This success
has opened up many doors for our hardworking players and their families. From more prestigious
tournaments to more training and better resources, our players routinely have their minds blown
year after year with new developments.
This partnership will connect our hockey families to a local business that is dedicated to its
community and passionate about youth development, including supporting the growth of hockey
in Ohio. The Performance Columbus logo will be in our rink, on our team jerseys, apparel and
hockey bags for the 2024/25 season.
